About VoteDataUSA
United States election results and history.
Data & methodology
VoteDataUSA publishes federal, state and local election results. Coverage varies by jurisdiction and year.
General elections, party primaries, runoffs and special elections are separate stages. A primary victory is not a general-election victory. Presidential vote totals represent popular votes; they are not Electoral College totals. Missing figures remain unknown.
Candidate names open recorded candidacies. Shared names do not establish that every record belongs to the same individual. Party labels reflect source reporting and may include fusion or minor-party labels.
